Absolutely. Every season has it's unique splendor and activities at Chateau Greenstone. Winter starts the year with skiing, snowboarding, and tubing at the best ski resort in the entire Mid-Atlantic region, as well as some of the best mountain views. Spring brings an abundance of activity in the Rockfish Valley below the mountain, with it's bursting wildflowers & blooming orchards and a head start on all the good weather activities available for the next 9 months. Catch the "early bite" on nearby fishing and the scenery of spring hiking. Summer in Wintergreen brings the fullest array of activities, from fishing, golf, tennis, lake activities (swimming, kayaking, paddling), rafting, and of course winery, brewery, and distillery touring. And remember, the mountain is commonly 6-10 degrees cooler that the lower elevations when temperatures rise. Not to be outdone, Fall packs the biggest visual punch, with the explosion of Autumn colors. Stunning, memorable views are around every corner. Fall hiking can be exhilarating. And of course most of the other attractions are still very accessible.
