How many people can Chateau Greenstone comfortably accommodate?

The property has a maximum overnight capacity of 18 guests. With 11 beds, including 3 kings and 4 queens, there are numerous sleeping combinations.

Is Chateau Greenstone suitable for large groups and families with kids?

Absolutely!  Chateau Greenstone is a favorite for both families with kids as well as large adult groups. It was designed from scratch to have space and amenities that serve both family and large adult groups.

What amenities are included (hot tub, sauna, game areas, Zen Den)?

Chateau Greenstone has one of the largest arrays of amenities in all of Wintergreen Resort.  It has a 6 person hot tub, 4 person sauna, zero-gravity massage chair & water feature in the Zen Den, shuffleboard, combo bumper pool/game table, foosball, mid-size ping pong table, two arcade games (Ms Pacman and Mortal Kombat), pinball machine, X-box One, safe darts, outdoor commercial-grade heaters, 3 fireplaces (1 gas, 1 electric, 1 gas stove), 9 large TVs from 55" to 85"(one in every bedroom and every living space), and a kid's play cubby loaded with kid's games, toys, and books. It also sports a good array of outdoor games including a safe axe through, frisbee/disc golf basket, a rope swing, cornhole, giant size Jenga, and life size Tetris Tumble.

Where is Chateau Greenstone located within Wintergreen Resort?

The property is located on the Blackrock Mountain side of Wintergreen Resort.  It is less than 1 mile to the resort complex and the ski slopes. This is the quieter side of the mountain.

How close is the home to skiing, hiking, and local attractions?

Chateau Greenstone is only .9 miles (3 minutes) to the skiing parking lot or a 4 minute walk to a mid-way access point to the Tyro ski slope!   Within a 3 minute walk you can be at the Pedlars Edge Trailhead and are only a 5 minute walk to scenic Blackrock park, home of the Plunge rock climbing trail.

Is parking available, and how many vehicles can park?

Parking is indeed free and on-site at Chateau Greenstone. We note parking can accommodate 5-9 vehicles depending on size and willingness to double park.  We have had groups park 10 cars, but don't want to assume everyone can do that.

What should guests know about stairs, layout, or accessibility?

Chateau Greenstone is a 3 story property.  There are exterior stairs to the front door on the main (middle) level.  Then there are two interior staircases - one up and one down.  Despite the entrance stairs to the primary front door, there is flat, ground level access to the lower level.  Additionally, there is extra wide parking space that can accommodate disabled parking needs.
